Robert Held Iridescent Blue Art Glass Monet Giverny Water Lilies Vase Signed

  

Up for consideration is a stunning iridescent blue vase by glass artist Robert Held of Canada. The vase measures about 6 inches tall. It is designed upon Claude Monet's garden in Giverny, France.

The garden had a pond with water lilies which are depicted in this vase. While Robert Held's studio continues to make the Giverny collection today, this vase is an older version and color and likely dates to the 1980s or 1990s.

It has a sticker which is missing a part. It also is hand signed "R Held" near the bottom rim. The glass is gorgeous; there are some bubbles in the glass which are part of the glassmaking process (see picture 2 for area with most glass bubbles).

I found the last photo on Robert Held's website. It shows his personal signature which masses the signature on the vase.
